Anglican Mainstream publishes a twisted piece written by Chuck Colson. Chuck blames evil and sin for the massacre in Norway. He says... You see, Norway is one of the most secular countries in Western Europe. Hardly a shred left of the Christian faith that once dominated the country. So, without that Christian understanding of fallen human nature, the people of Norway are left in mourning, but without an explanation for the horror that has befallen them.
So Christian fundamentalism rationalises the actions of a Christian fundamentalist mass murderer, by explaining it away as part of Norway's fall from God's grace... And the rationalisation goes further by implying that Christian fundamentalism is far better, than having a predominantly secular society , which is peaceful, prosperous and tolerant!
All this spin makes me sick!
